The GU68 Engineers Trust Medal is awarded in memory of our founding secretary, Hugh O’Neill, to the student making the best presentation in support of an application to the Trust.
Hugh was an extremely competent communicator and delivered seminars in presentation skills to architectural and engineering professionals. He firmly believed that effective presentation was as important as technical competence and was very active in supporting the Trust from its inception in 2004.
Every applicant for an award from the Trust will automatically be eligible to receive the Medal.
